As you can see we had quite a trip to get 2 Greenville . It was about 2200 miles through several snow storms. The countryside was very diverse. We saw rolling hills, flat plains, farm land with trees surrounding each plot . Then we got to Mountains with snow on them and roads that had lots of curves. Kentucky had several snow storms but the roads were just wet. It was n West Virginia that the roads got dicey. We woke up with 4 inches of snow on the roof of our car. We had stretches of wet, slushie and snow packed roads. Once we got over the Mountains the roads were okay. Our Garmin saved the day. We met president Baker at the mission office and all of the staff. We stayed that night with the bakers at the mission home. We Got 2 stay n the general authority bedroom. Only because there were less steps 2 go up. We traveled 2 Greenville the next day and got the keys to our apt. From the sister missionaries. They helped us unpack the car. Very helpful. We have A nice apartment. 2 bedrooms:, 2 bathrooms, kitchenette, washer and dryer and most of our cooking utensils, pans and silverware. We are settling in. Have already been 2 A district meeting 4 missionaries, A baptism, confirmation, women's conference, and eaten at just about all of them. A new branch presidency was installed and then there was food, of course. We got 2 say A few words 2 introduce ourselves. Last night we attended FH E 4 the singles. We are attached 2 A young single adult branch. We have met quite A few of the members already. Tonight we are having dinner with the new branch president and his family. Will try 2 stay on top of our blog better.
